Hi!!! My name is Shannon and I'm the artist behind the camera here at MercyMae Photography. I am glad you stopped by.

 

I'd love to introduce myself so you know a little bit about me because I believe that one of the most important element in having photos taken is the personality of the photographer. So let me tell you a little about me and hopefully we will fit well together as a team in making your dreams of filling your home with beautiful art of your family come true.  

 

I am married to a really funny and kind man named Freddy. We have been married since I was 18 and the older I get the more insane I think that is. But I love my life and am thankful to have found love young. We have grown up together pretty much. We raised 4 kids.  And we now have 7 grandchildren with an 8th on the way!!

 

A few fun facts about me are:

I love Jesus and we have a motto in our home that simply says Love God, Serve All.  It's even tattooed on my wrist.

I have lived in Michigan, North Carolina (GO HEELS!), Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, and now Texas.

My favorite food is Mexican. I mean whose isn't? 

My favorite colors are magenta and pretty much any shade of blue.

I love to have my nails done.

I have 2 dogs who are maniacs.

Being a Mimi is my favorite thing!

I have run 7 full marathons and 7 half marathons and I'm trying to decide if I have one more full in me or not. Probably not because of my love for Mexican food.

My favorite drinks are Water, Topo Chico (plain) or Diet Coke with limes.

My favorite kid is just kidding, just wanted to see if any of them check my website.
